Services for Families and Children:

Oftentimes, a child has been identified in school, daycare, or at home as "struggling." This can mean a number of things for the child. Maybe the child is experiencing divorce. Maybe the child is having an intense emotional reaction to a situation that may lead to behavior problems. Perhaps the child is anxious or depressed. The staff at Head Quarters for Heart Change is adept at helping children learn coping strategies for getting through these difficult times. The therapists also work with parents to help them understand how to approach and help their children through whatever challenge is in their way.

There are several strategies that we use to help families through their adversity:

Psychotherapy Services: We provide individual and family counseling. Having a neutral person observe and work with a family can help the child and the parents feel like they understand the whole picture and everyone's side of things.

All Day Trainings: We offer all day trainings on a number of different topics. Sometimes parents just need more tools in their tool box. Attending an all day training can assist parents with gaining more tools as well as validate parents' feelings that they are not the only one going through this!

"Creating Healthy, Safe, Attached Children" Parenting Class: Becoming a parent is exciting and scary all at the same time. This class is focused on getting parents to a place where they have overcome some of their fears about parenting and really embraced the blessings of becoming a parent.

Professional Trainings: Professionals are often looking for continuing education credits and more training. We offer trainings both on site and at your site. Please contact for additional information.

Intensive Weekends: Sometimes attending therapy on a weekly basis for an hour isn't enough. Sometimes going to a training where there's a lecture all day isn't enough. Intensive weekends are designed for the person that wants to explore deeper and make more of an emotional shift in their life. The weekend is interactive and INTENSE!

Tele-Seminars: In 2010, you will begin to see more tele-seminars offered. This is a low-cost, anonymous way to get the information that you need.
