Stacy York
Stacy grew up in Rawlins, WY. When it came time to decide her destiny after high school, she decided to move to Billings, Montana. Stacy attended Rocky Mountain College and completed her Bachelor's of Science degree with a focus on Psychology Education. She has always known that she wanted to work with kids and having that education background is imperative in understanding where kids spend a majority of their time. Stacy then decided that she wanted to move on in her education. She completed a Master's in Social Work in 2003 through the Walla Walla College satellite program in Billings, Montana. The focus of this degree was clinical work with children and families.
Stacy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Montana. She currently owns a private practice and provides individual, group, and family therapy to children, adolescents, families, and adults. Stacy is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Stacy is also a member of NAMI and volunteers as a facilitator for their family support group.
Throughout her educational career, she has worked for several local organizations including: Youth Dynamics, Inc., Tumbleweed Runaway Program, and Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch-Community Based Services.
Amanda Lewis
Amanda is a licensed clinical social worker who has spent the past seven years working with children of all ages and their families. Amanda has work experience with Tumbleweed Runaway Program, The Youth Assessment Center and Acadia of Montana CSCT (Comprehensive School and Community Treatment Program). Amanda has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, The Stress Model, Hospital Social Work, School Social Work, Family Group Decision Making and Psychosocial Assessments. Amanda is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Jason Buyse
Jason Buyse is a licensed clinical social worker who has worked with children and families for the past twelve years. Jason has worked with families in a variety of settings including mental health case management, juvenile probation, child protective services, and family therapy in inpatient settings. Jason works from a strength based approach with the goals and needs identified by the client and treatment team. Clinical training includes cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, school social work ,and mental health assessments.
Michelle Phillips
Michelle is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has spent the past 19 years working with seriously emotionally disturbed children, adults and families. Michelle graduated from Eastern Montana College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Extended Major in 1992 and earned her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling in 1998 in La Jolla, California. Michelle has experience as a Dual-Diagnosis Program Coordinator, has worked with the Mental Health Center PACT Team, The Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch Intensive Care Unit, and was Lead Clinical Staff/Outpatient Therapist for Youth Dynamics. Michelle works from a Person-Centered/Humanistic Model and has training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, The Stress Model, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Sand Tray, Reality Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Substance Abuse, Psychopharmacology and Individual, Group and Family Mental Health Assessments. She is certified as an animal assisted therapist and provides animal assisted therapy by request. Michelle is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors and is also a Nationally Certified Counselor.
Dox
Dox is a three year old female Akita who was rescued from Idaho as a puppy. She went through the Montana Women's Prison Paws Program for initial training on her way to becoming an approved Delta Certified Psychiatric Animal Assistance dog, #83033. Dox works with Michelle Phillips, LCPC, NCC, during individual and family outpatient therapy sessions as is clinically warranted. Ms. Phillips would like to formally thank both the Delta Certification Team and the Prison Paws Programs Women's Inmate Training Team for their sizable contribution in the specialized training Dox recieved while in their care.
Grace Zacaroli
Grace is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a degree from Antioch in individual counseling psychology and marriage and family therapy. She also has a Master's degree in teaching from Boston University. Grace completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University. Grace grew up overseas in South Africa and brings the experiences of sensitivity to cultural differences with her. She has experience with CBT, solution-focused, and narrative therapies with an emphasis on supporting and empowering families. Grace focuses on family dynamics, especially with younger children, because of the importance of keeping families together in their homes and giving support to parents. Grace uses various forms of creative expression to engage children and their families. Grace treats clients of all ages with many diagnoses. Grace is a group facilitator for groups of children with ADHD and also has a passion about how technology influences our children's ability to interact socially.
Scott York
Scott has spent the last 11 years being self-employed and running a business. He is now on board with Head Quarters for Heart Change as the billing agent and behind the scenes operations. Feel free to contact him at anytime with any questions and he is sure to point you in the right direction.
Kaydi Muus
Kaydi Muus graduated from Montana State University-Billings with a degree in secondary education. Her career path took a turn when she landed a job at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch where she wore many hats for the last 10 years. Kaydi's experience as an administrator, supervisor, organizer, and executive assistant brings another level of professionalism to Head Quarters for Heart Change. Kaydi is sure to assist all those with whom she encounters and will be happy to help you any way she can.
Neil Kidwell
Neil is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked for over twelve years with children and families in Billings and surrounding communities. He attended Rocky Mountain College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in English writing in 1997. He received his Master's in Social Work in 2005 through the Walla Walla College program in Billings. The focus of his degree was clinical aspects of children and families. Throughout Neil's professional life, he has worked with children and families in many capacities and settings including family support work, group homes, and an independent living program assisting teens aging out of foster care and out-of-home placements. Most recently, Neil has worked in a school setting providing therapy to children ages 5-18. Neil works primarily from a cognitive behavioral therapy model, but incorporates training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, the Stress Model, Play Therapy, Moral Reconation Therapy, the Strengths-Based approach, Attachment Theory, character development and clinical assessment. Providing individual, family and group therapies to his clients, Neil emphasizes the importance of working with families, schools and community treatment teams.
